Savings Account-i: The bank lists a 0.25% p.a. board rate. Profit accrues daily and is paid monthly.
Savings Pots: The bank advertises 3.00% p.a. as the promotional rate for money placed in a Savings Pot. The published board rate is 0.25% p.a.
Everyday spending: Use DuitNow QR or the linked Visa Debit Card-i. Add the card to Google Pay through Google Wallet.
AEON Points: Use the bank app to check eligible card spending and current AEON Points offers.

Physical card: No issuance or annual fee under the bank’s updated terms. Customer-requested replacement is RM12, with an exception for card or chip defects.
Foreign-currency transactions: The standard tariff is 1% from Visa plus 1% from AEON Bank on the transaction value. When choosing merchant conversion to MYR, the disclosure lists a 1% Visa fee on the converted amount.
Cash withdrawals: Local bank-operated interbank ATMs waive the RM1 fee. The Visa Plus tariff is RM4 locally and RM10 overseas per withdrawal. ATM operator fees can apply separately.
Early account closure: RM20 if you close Savings Account-i within three months of activation.

Standard app route: Malaysian applicants aged 18 or over with a valid MyKad. The disclosure lists separate eligibility for certain Japanese AEON employees.
Opening deposit: RM1 to activate. The bank does not ordinarily require an ongoing minimum balance.

Eligible AEON Bank deposits are protected by PIDM up to RM250,000 per depositor.

How does the debit card differ from AEON Credit cards?

The Visa Debit Card-i spends funds from your AEON Bank Savings Account-i. AEON Credit issues its own credit cards under separate terms.
