Currencies, transfers and a card.
Wise combines a multi-currency account with transfers and a linked debit card. Eligible personal cards issued in Malaysia and Singapore support Apple Pay and Google Pay.
FX: no markup is not no fee.
Wise uses the mid-market exchange rate and charges a conversion fee when currencies are exchanged. The fee varies by currency and amount; review the final quote. Spending an existing matching-currency balance does not need conversion.

Malaysian nationality does not set the account’s fee schedule: your verified country of residence does. Check the supported-country and document steps in Wise before ordering a card.
A payment account, with safeguarding.
Wise is not a bank. In Malaysia and Singapore, customer money is held separately from Wise’s operating funds under the local safeguarding arrangements. This is distinct from a personal insured bank deposit.
A few useful answers
Is Wise a 0% FX-fee card?
There is no added markup to the mid-market rate, but converting currencies has a separate fee. It should not be described as free currency conversion.
Why do Malaysia and Singapore show different ATM limits?
The card’s registered country sets its pricing. Apply the relevant country allowance rather than combining the two.
